1 March (Day 1)
Yeah, the time has come for the recording of the new Sear Bliss album. Everything went well today. We have finished with the soundcheck of the drum at noon. We have created a drum sound we always longed for. It is really powerful. We started recording the drum tracks in the afternoon. Sömi recorded the drums for the first two songs, so we made a good going today. We had no difficulties with the equipment, so everything is OK so far.
2 March (Day 2)
We continued recording the drum tracks today. Sömi has played 3 other songs this time. We got forward with the work, however, we are still at the beginning. Hopefully, we will take a couple of photos of the studio works in the next days.
3 March (Day 3)
It was a short and a bit lazy day as Sömi entered the studio only at 1 pm because of a lingering party the night before. Meanwhile, Olivér and Csaba played some guitar and keyboard tracks and we recorded the drum tracks of the sixth song in the afternoon.
4 March (Day 4)

5 March (Day 5)
Drumming finished!
6 March (Day 6)
We were searching for the right bass sound. We have tried out a lot of amplifiers and tricks and finally we got a really fat bass sound at nightfall.
7 March (Day 7)
It was quite an insane idea to make a party just before the bass recording. I slept only 3 hours but, fortunately, things went well. I became weary only in the afternoon. Anyway, we had to stop the recording at 2 pm as the sound engineer had other commitments. We recorded the bass tracks for half of the album.
8 March (Day 8)
We have finished the recording of the bass tracks today.
9 March (Day 9)
We have started recording the first guitar-track with Csaba. We have created an extremely harsh guitar sound.
11 March (Day 10)
We had a day off yesterday so we started today with full force. Neco has
arrived and he already played four songs on two tracks. We found a great
guitar sound quickly and everything went well.
12 March (Day 11)
Neco played the guitars for 3 songs in the forenoon and Csabi played 2 songs
in the afternoon.
13 March (Day 12)
Csabi's guitarsound became far too extreme. It turned out when I listened to it on my HiFi. So unfortunately we had to erase his track. Neco has finished with all his parts.
14 March (Day 13)
We recorded the intro of the album in the morning and we created a new guitar-sound for Csabi in the afternoon.
15 March (Day 14)
We recorded Csabi's guitar track.
16 March (Day 15)
We recorded the second track of Csabi's guitar.
17 March (Day 16)
We started recording the keyboards today.
18 March (Day 17)
We started recording the wind instruments. Besides trombone and barytone, a tuba player joined us in the studio in the evening to record some parts in two songs.
19 March (Day 18)
We finished the recording of the brasses at noon and continued the work with the keyboards.
20 March (Day 19)
We recorded the vocals for seven songs today. I was unable to sing for the last two songs because of the strong torture on my throat.
21 March (Day 20)
I sang the last two songs and the result was much better than yesterday. We continued working with the keyboards in the afternoon. We had quite much trouble with it but hopefully it will not take so much time.
22 March (Day 21)
We recorded some lead and acoustic guitars today. At the end of the day the work turned into a good party :)
23 March (Day 22)
Probably the worst day. The synthesizer I have just bought has been fucked up somehow. It did not only hinder us but I became very much annoyed about it. It shocked me.
24 March (Day 23)
Still struggling with keyboards.
25 March (Day 24)
Finally we have started the mixing. We finished the first at the end of the day. Meanwhile I found out that the effect processor of my synth has been fucked up. It will surely be quite expensive. Shit!
26 March (Day 25)
We re-mixed the song we did yesterday for the sake of the better result. Also we mixed another song.
27 March (Day 26)
We were still not pleased with those two songs so we changed them a bit and we have mixed the third song too.
