| January: Sear Bliss starts intense rehearsals. |
Spring: Csaba Tóth quits Sear Bliss.
Gergely Szücs joins Sear Bliss as a trumpet player. Former Extreme
Deformity vocalist Csaba Csejtei joins Sear Bliss as a guitar player
and his brother Zoltán Csejtei, former Extreme Deformity guitarist
joins Sear Bliss as vocalist. Winter joins Sear Bliss on keyboards.

April: Norbert Keibinger leaves Sear Bliss.
"The Pagan Winter" is recorded (LMS Studio, Szombathely. Engineered
by Bertalan Domby) with Balázs Bertalan from Extreme Deformity
as session-drummer. |
May: "The Pagan Winter" is released. Winter
quits Sear Bliss. Gergely Szücs takes over the keyboards beside
the trumpet. Zoltán Csejtei takes over the drums and András
Nagy takes over the vocals beside the bass.
Sear Bliss starts working on new songs. |
| Summer: "The Pagan Winter" tape gets surprisingly
good reviews and responses. Some labels become interested in the band. |
| August: Sear Bliss plays its first live
show, in Budapest. |
November: Winter rejoins Sear Bliss.
Sear Bliss decides to sign to Mascot / Two Moons Records for three
albums. More than 800 copies of "The Pagan Winter" are sold. |

January: The first album, titled "Phantom"
is recorded (LMS Studio, Szombathely. Engineered by Bertalan Domby and
Ferenc Vida). |
| July: The label decides to change the title
of the album to "Phantoms". |
August: "Phantoms" is released.
Holland's leader metal magazine Aardshock awards it as "CD Of The
Month". It is the first (and only) time in the magazine's history
that the award goes to a black metal album.
The song called "Aeons Of Desolation" appears on the compilation CD
of the Dutch progressive rock magazine IO Pages. |
| September: Sear Bliss starts working on
new songs. |
| November: A new song, entitled "In The Shadow
Of Another World" is recorded (Nautilus Studio, Sopron. Engineered
by András Boda) for the CD version of "The Pagan Winter". |
| December: The song "Aeons Of Desolation"
appears on the Extreme Rock´N´Roll Series I. compilation
CD, released by Mascot Records. |

February: "The Pagan Winter" is released on
CD together with the song "In The Shadow Of Another World", as a bonus
track. |
| February/March: Sear Bliss tours Europe
together with Marduk and Tsatthoggua. |
| March: Zoltán Csejtei is asked to
leave Sear Bliss. Shortly after Csaba Csejtei follows him. |
| April: Winter quits. |
May: Zoltán Schönberger (drums)
and Viktor Scheer (guitars) joins Sear Bliss. Gergely Szücs takes
over the keyboards again.
The work on the songs of ´The Haunting´ begins. |
| August: "The Haunting" is recorded (Beaufort
Studio, Holland. Engineered by Han Swagerman and Viktor Scheer) |
| September: "The Haunting" is mixed without
the band. The result is disappointing so new mixes are done shortly
after. |

February: "The Haunting" is released. Gigs
follow later. |
| March: Sear Bliss gets an oppotunity for
a three-week-long European tour with Ancient in May but has to cancel
it due to studies commitments. |
| December: Sear Bliss celebrates its 5th
anniversary with an enormous gig in Budapest. |

| 1999 |
March: Sear Bliss leaves Mascot Records. Shortly
after, the band records four new songs for promotional purposes (engineered
by Viktor Scheer). |
| July: Sear Bliss plays a gig together with
Tormentor in Budapest. This was called the Tormentor Reunion gig. |
| August: Viktor Scheer is asked to leave
Sear Bliss. |
| September: Gergely Szücs and János
Barbarics quit Sear Bliss due to other commitments. |
November/December: András Nagy takes
over the guitar. Shortly after, András Horváth P. joins
Sear Bliss on guitar. Keyboard-players Attila Török (Amon
Hen) and later Péter Bokros and trumpet-player Róbert
Pintér help Sear Bliss as session musicians.
Sear Bliss starts negotiating with a couple of labels. |

February: Sear Bliss records two new songs

| April: István Neubrandt joins Sear
Bliss on guitar. |
Summer: Sear Bliss does a small European
tour. The band signs to Nephilim Records for one album.
András Nagy is asked to write the lyrics and do the vocals
for Olivér Ziskó´s project called Cavum (Olivér
plays the drums there). This demo is recorded in Home Studio (engineered
by Bertalan Domby). Cavum plays experimental, progressive metal with
András Nagy´s black metal vocals and cosmic lyrics. |
November/December: "Grand Destiny" is recorded.
Zoltán Pál joins Sear Bliss as trombone-player. |

| February: András Horváth P.
is asked to leave Sear Bliss. Krisztián Varga helps the band
as session guitar player on stage. |
April: "Grand Destiny" is released.
András Nagy writes music together with Winter and Zoltán
Csejtei for Winter´s project called Forest Silence. |
| May/June: Forest Silence´s three-song
promo is recorded (Home Studio, engineered by Bertalan Domby). András
Nagy plays the guitar. Forest Silence plays old school but slow black
metal with majestic keyboards. |
June: The song "Arx Idolatriae" appears
on Ablaze Magazine´s compilation CD.
The director of the Illyés Gyula Theater asks Sear Bliss to
co-operate in John Gay´s "The Beggar´s Opera". One month
long, very intense rehearsal starts with the theatrical company. Ziskó
Olivér joins Sear Bliss. |
| Summer: The live performance of the play
("The Beggar´s Opera-Metal Ballad") begins in Hungary. |
| August: Csaba Csejtei rejoins Sear Bliss.
Intense work on the songs for "Forsaken Symphony" begins. |
| November: Sear Bliss signs a deal with Red
Stream, Inc. for three albums. |

March/April: "Forsaken Symphony" is recorded. |
April: Red Stream, Inc. re-releases "Grand
Destiny".
Sear Bliss, together with the Illyés Gyula Theatrical Company
performs "The Beggar´s Opera" in Budapest´s most famous
Theater Thália with great success. |
October: Red Stream releases "Forsaken
Symphony".
Sear Bliss does a successful small European tour together with Skyforger,
Grief Of Emerald, Obtest, Bestial Mockery. |

March: Sear Bliss tours the Benelux
as headliner. |
April: Sear Bliss plays as supporter
with Marduk, Immolation and Malevolent Creation in Budapest. |
May: Sear Bliss plays together with
Mortiis in Budapest. |
| November/December: The recording of the
fifth full-lenght album titled "Glory And Perdition"; in
the HSB studio with Viktor Scheer and Zoltán Regenye. |
| 2004 |
August: "Glory And Perdition" is released. It is definitely the band's most mature and strongest release so far. A grandiose album with intense songs, professional sound and magnificent artwork. This album contains guest appearance by Mayhem's vocalist Attila Csihar. The responses from the media have never been so great before. |
| 2005 |
May: Sear Bliss' first DVD was released. It contains their highly successful 10th anniversary show, filmed in Budapest in 2004 plus a documentary of the band with many interviews and a huge photo gallery. The band made another headliner European tour in 2005 and many festival appearances including Germany's Party San festival where they had great success. |
| 2006 |
January: The video clip for "Two Worlds Collide" is filmed.. |
| May: Péter Kovács (guitar) joins Sear Bliss. |
| August: The band signs a contract with Candlelight Records |
| 2007 |
Winter/Spring: This year was spent most on recording the new album, "The Arcane Odyssey". . |
| Autumn: The new album was released on 24 September. It had outstanding responses: it was CD of the month in Zero Tolerance Magazine, and it was voted for the best Hungarian Record of 2007 at Hungarian Metal Awards. |
