German heathen metallers WOLFCHANT, METALMESSAGE & HAUDEGEN EVENTS arrange an Open Air Festival in Ringelai for all true followers of Pagan & Folk Metal; the band will play there also. As a little, but fine event conceived, „PAGAN NIGHTS“ should establish itself as a heathenish oriented festival in the green heart of the beautiful Bavarian forest. The release schedule is the following:
All of them will be remastered and come with different booklets plus there are negotiation about bonus tracks and perhaps the re-mixing of "The Haunting". The release schedule for the Decade Of Perdition DVD is December 2005. 27 July 2005 Sear Bliss will be the guest of the TV show Megawatt on Viva TV, on the 2nd of August, Tuesday at 10 pm (CET), repeated on the 7th of August. You can see some excerpts of the upcoming DVD which is finally ready for manufacturing.
Sear Bliss are going to play at Open Hell fest in Czech Republic.

Of course, this is not the forthcoming official Sear Bliss DVD on which we are working now. Official Live Bootleg is for the fans and contains live performances, studio, party and backstage footages. April 11th, 2005 Due to some server problems our website was not available for quite a long time. Sorry for this. Hopefully the site will run without troubles from now. We couldn’t let you know about our shows meanwhile. The Ancient Flames Over Europe tour was great. Some photos and a diary can be expected soon. We had two German shows last month (Hamburg and Annaberg) plus we played in Graz (A) a very successful show together with Behemtoth, Crowbar and In Battle.

We have started to work on our DVD release of which we were talking about in
some interviews. The DVD will contain Another important news is that the Beggars Opera will continue from spring. Budapest dates will be announced soon. 11 January 2004 You can download another sample from our new album in the Download section. You can hear backing vocals by Attila Csihar in this one. The guestbook works again, however the old messages are lost. 6 January, 2004 After a long silent period again we returned to give you the latest news about Sear Bliss. We had some problems again with the site, so that’s why we couldn’t update however we wanted to do it. Plus we spent November and December in the HSB studio to record our new album entitled ’Glory And Perdition’. It was an extremely long and heavy work but it was worth doing so, as it became our most powerful and complete material so far both musically and production-wise. The album is going to be released by Red Stream, Inc. in the spring. You can already hear a short excerpt in our download section. More samples coming soon. During the recording we had to shows in Germany and Slovenia. Unfortunately we couldn’t let you know about them due to the troubles with the site. We have the date of our 10th anniversary show. It will be held in Budapest on the 22nd of February. It will be a special event as ex-members of Sear Bliss are expected to play there. It is planned that the show we will be recorded for a future DVD or live CD release. The supporters are: Sin Of Kain, Casketgarden and Embers. 10th anniversary Sear Bliss T-shirt is available, limited to 100 copies! We know that it's been quite a while since we last gave any sign of
existence of ourselves. Fact is that we have been extremely busy with the
band and with some personal things as well. This is the reason for the
delay. Simply we had no time to sit down to write about where Sear Bliss is
at the moment. We would like to change this manner now and hopefully you can
hear of us more often on this site. Also there were some server problems in
the meantime which means that you could not reach the site for a couple of
weeks plus our e-mail addresses did not work. We apologize for these things.

András' comment: "We are very sorry but we had to cancel the Finnish gigs of our
Christ Crushing Tour (with Grief Of Emerald, Bestial Mockery, Obtest,
Skyforger) due to the fact that we couldn't find a cheap van or bus with
which we could take such a long trip. The costs of the rent became so high
that the organizers can't pay it. We apologize to those who wanted to see us
on stage in Finland. We are very sad because it was our dream to perform
over there. We hope that we can arrange some gigs in Finland in the near
future. We will try!"

The new issue (#5) of Nightwalk fanzine is out. Professional quality, 56 pages, including interviews (in English) with the following: Tsjuder, Carpathian Forest, Borknagar, Shining, Aeternus, Blood Red Throne, Khold, Thorns, Cruachan, Naer Mataron etc. The zine comes with a 16-track CD-R, which contains a new Sear Bliss song ("The Spectral Wrath - later renamed "Enthralling Mystery") from the forthcoming "Forsaken Symphony" album. The interesting thing is that the featured version is different from the one on the album.

13 August Sear Bliss goes on a European tour in October with Obtest (heathen war metal, Lithuania), Skyforger (pagan metal, Latvia), Bestial Mockery (old schooled black/thrash, Sweden) plus one more band from Sweden. The tour will take the following route: Czech-Slovakian-Hungarian-Slovenian-Austrian region (tentatively October 10-14), Germany (tentatively October 14-20), Benelux-France-Spain (tentatively October 18-24), France-Italy-Germany (tentatively October 23-27). The tour is being organised Ledo Takas Records and dates are still available for booking. Contact Ledo Takas Records for details.

9 June We are currently working on a new site design, which we will be up soon. This means lots of new stuff, including, among others, a new Trivia section, Kris's explanations of the CD covers and info on the Black Metal Opera that is a co-production of the band and the Illyés Gyula Theatre Company.
